Our Week of Real Testing

Day 1โ€“2: Meeting Notes & Summaries

This was immediately impressive. We pasted in a 2,000-word meeting transcript and asked Notion AI to summarize it into action items. It produced a clean, accurate list in about 5 seconds. This alone saved us 15โ€“20 minutes of manual work. For teams that run a lot of meetings, this feature is genuinely valuable.

Day 3โ€“4: Q&A Over Our Workspace

We tested the ability to ask questions about our own Notion workspace content. We asked things like "What were the key decisions from last month's strategy meeting?" and "What tasks are assigned to the marketing team?" The answers were mostly accurate but sometimes missed context from older pages. It works best with well-organized, recent content.

Day 5โ€“6: Writing Assistance

We used Notion AI to draft blog post outlines, improve existing paragraphs and generate first drafts. The quality was decent but noticeably below ChatGPT Plus. The writing felt more generic and required more editing. For quick internal documents it's fine, but for external content we'd use a dedicated writing tool.
